The Lab is appointment only! This means we do not accept walk-ins, or same day appointments.
Appointments are to be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
If you are ill, please reschedule your appointment.
If you arrive sick, you will be asked to leave, and your appointment will be rescheduled.
Both parties will be wearing masks, regardless of vaccination status, for the foreseeable future. Should you not have a mask, a disposable one will be provided to you, or Lunula Lab official masks are available for purchase.
If you are 10 or more minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled, or your services may be adjusted for the remaining time.
Anyone late more than twice will be required to keep a valid credit card on file.
If you no call/no show you forfeit your ability to book future services in The Lab.
If there is a natural disaster or inclement weather, appointments will be rescheduled at no penalty.
For your satisfaction, comfort, and safety, The Lab reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion whenever necessary.
Experiencing a successful service requires your full disclosure on intake forms, and during all consultations.
The Lab will not assume responsibility for any adverse reactions to any rendered services when a client has failed to inform of contraindications.
The Lab is a one-on-one, boutique nail salon.
Space is at a premium, so please no extra guests, including children.
Pricing is based on arriving with a naked, natural nail or product previously applied in The Lab. Basic polish is also acceptable.
If you arrive with gel, dip/powder product, or acrylic, additional fees and time will result.
Pricing is subject to change.
Repairs will be accommodated within reason.
If you have any issues with your services, you must contact us within 72 hours of your appointment.
No refunds will be given in lieu of repairs.
Payment for services and gratuity is accepted on credit card, including American Express, and in cash.
No personal checks or cash apps accepted.
Some metered street parking is available in the front of the building, and in the surrounding Waterfront Park area.
There is a parking garage located one block away at 25 Prioleau Street.
There is also 4 hour metered parking at 122 East Bay Street.
Gift cards are available to purchase for current clients both in person, and in our online shop.
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, and are valid for 5 years from purchase date.
If inactive after one year from the purchase date, service fees will be applied for the life of the card.
